TEC partnered up with Shameless Screen Entertainment, TBH Films, and popular cult film blogs Italian Film Review and Mondo Euro to present Trash Cinema, a short season of Italian exploitation films screened in a cabaret atmosphere, with informal talks from film bloggers and one of the organisers of Manchester’s GrimmFest. When is ‘Trash’ not trash but just unappreciated art? This was the question on appreciative audiences’ minds as they enjoyed Sergio Martino’s ‘Torso’, the late, great Mario Bava’s ‘A Bay of Blood’, and Tarantino’s hero Enzo G. Castellari’s delirious post-apocalypse romp ‘Bronx Warriors’.  Watch this space for the return of Trash Cinema.
