They Eat Culture is an active executive member of Preston Creative Partnership a network of independent creative professionals, who work together to realise the cultural potential of the city. The partnership represents the diverse mix of the city’s cultural offer, including organisations, venues, voluntary arts, individual practitioners, festivals, and creative projects. PCP provides a voice for the sector and works to raise cultural ambitions for the city. It nurtures talent, supports innovation and experimentation, raises the quality of work, and provides opportunities for the sector. In doing so, it develops and engages Preston cultural audiences, and inspires confident communities across the city. We link and promote the city’s cultural offer to the outside world, and bring visitors to the city. We are building a sustainable future for the cultural sector and life of the city.

As executive members of PCP we also sit on the Preston Cultural Framework board and the wider Arts Lancashire executive of local arts partnerships. Through these activities we are demonstrating our commitment as an arts business, to the growth and development of a strong and vibrant creative sector within Lancashire.

Have Your Say:

Have Your Say is a document produced by Arts Lancashire, making a case for continued investment in the arts and telling the story of what arts and culture brings to the lives of people in Lancashire.

It is only the beginning of a new conversation we want to have with the people and organisations we connect with, and which you are welcome to participate in by contacting us via info@theyeatculture.org and telling us about how arts and cultural experiences have had an impact on you.

Arts Lancashire would like to thank everyone who took the time to have their say and intend that this document will form part of an important dialogue with funders and supporters, to enable arts organisations to continue to do the work they are passionate about in our county.
