As part of writing project Preston 3:20, and funded by a local Acorn grant, writer, Naomi Kruger, spent 3 weeks with a group of young mums at the Riverbank Centre in Preston, developing stories around the theme ’My Preston’.

The young women discussed their responses to Preston as a setting for stories, and in response to their discussions with Naomi and the photographs of Preston she showed them, the group put together a fictional story set in Preston, and the project kick-started some fascinating discussions about Preston and about story-telling.

This project was delivered in July 2012 in  partnership with Surestart and Lancashire Pregnancy & Parenthood Service.
